Silence

Amid the noise of the world, nature becomes a sanctuary, offering silence and clarity to those who seek stillness within.

My friend Jason and I wanted to shoot a project together so I came up with this short about finding your inner peace.

Shot in Wales and Somerset on my Sony a7SIII and FX6 with a 1972 Canon FD 55mm f/1.2, a Moment Anamorphic Adapter and diopters. Aerial footage shot with a DJI Mini 3 Pro and an anamorphic adapter. Initially I had the lens and adapter on the a7SIII on a DJI RSC2 gimbal, but it was just on the edge of being too heavy, so it was a real struggle to get the shot. Focus was a challenge too until we shot the second part with the FX6 and the DJI Focus Pro lidar setup. Just no smooth walking anymore at that point. A 1st AC and a bigger gimbal would be a good idea if we’d do something similar with a bit of budget…
