We Shook The Sun - short film
We Shook the Sun is a poem by Anna Hoghton. She showed it to me first a few years ago when we were working together in the last iteration of my agency Pixillion. I loved it and have been looking for a way to make a short film with it since.
I met Ariane Terrell and Leila Stringer on my other short film Last Song, found a car and a beach and things finally came together. Isabel While came on to do hair and makeup and Niamh J O’Donnell composed the music. Ariane read the poem for the voice-over.
All shot, directed, edited and graded by me. Shot on a Sony FX6 with a 1972 Canon FD 55mm f/1.2, a Moment Anamorphic Adapter and diopters.
