Miss Magpie Fashion Spy shoot

Niki Groom a.k.a. Miss Magpie Fashion Spy is a well-known fashion illustrator and digital influencer from Bristol, UK. With a background in fashion design, she's very familiar with the fashion industry and has always been aware of the lack of diversity in many fashion campaigns. Niki started a new blog on which she decided to feature not just slim young white women, further "reinforcing a narrow-minded view of what it means to be fashionable and beautiful", instead, painting garments on three different sized women from different ethnic backgrounds. And, interestingly for me, she decided to model the garments and accessories herself too.

So, one Summer evening we took to the Ashton Court estate and shot five sets of clothing and some accessories for her first series of articles. What follows is a small selection of the pictures I took.
